Since getting started in digital design in the late 1990s, I’ve worn many hats and taken on many responsibilities: Interaction Designer, Art Director, UX Designer, Interactive Art Director, VP of Creative Services. That’s as it should be: the swift evolution of the industry demands its contributors be as flexible, and move as quickly, as the industry itself.
I’ve had the privilege of working on hundreds of websites and products, finding the true center and purpose for each. For me, each new project has informed the one to follow, the collective experience forming a deep knowledge of best practices and better execution.
With each day’s work, I like to think of myself as an advocate. First and foremost, for the user. Then, close behind, for clients, my team, the company, and the process.
